Hi everyone!
We’ve got quite a bit happening in the last 2 weeks of this term – Bomber jackets and Junior School Councillor badges tomorrow (23rd March), Teddy Bear’s Picnic this Friday and Disco this Friday night (27th March) then on the following Monday (30th March) a visit for Year 6 to Lilydale High School. Tuesday 31st March is our Open Night to show off our fabulous Hitachi Interactive Whiteboards and then the last day of term on Friday 3rd April! We’ll be ready for our holidays by then!
looking forward to lots of fun,

Hello everyone
Here are the links to this week’s homework – the new Work@Home grid. The letter that explains how it all works is there too, just in case yours is missing.
Which tasks will you choose this week? I’d love to hear about what you’ve chosen and what you think about our new look homework for term 1.
see you all tomorrow,

4-feb homework
Hi everyone,
thanks to the couple of people who have left a message on our blog. Love to see lots more!
This week’s homework is attached in case you’ve lost yours.
Mrs. Corr
G’day guys!!!
I hope you’ve had a brilliant break and are ready for the adventures and challenges that this year promises to hold.
I’ve had relaxing holiday. I spent some time on the Gold Coast where I stayed on a house boat. I spent almost all my time fishing and swimming. I caught lots of different fish including bream, flathead, whiting and a massive spotted mackerel. I’ll have to show you the photo!
I really enjoyed spending time with my family and watching the cricket. Go Aussies!
I am really keen here about what you’ve been up to. Enjoy the rest of you’re holidays and I’ll see you when you when school starts on Monday!
Take care,
Mr O’Meara
Hello Everyone
I have had a wonderful holiday!!!
My family and I have been busy doing fun stuff like, bike riding, swimming, going out to the movies and visiting friends!
I have missed being at school and can’t wait to see all the happy, smiley faces in the playground and look forward to hearing cheerful ‘goodmornings’ again!
It will be an exciting year with Camp, Revved Up and MPower, The Amazing Race and of course for the lucky year sixes (although it seems so far away) graduation.
See you all really soon!!!
Mrs Smith
Hello and Happy New Year to all our Level 4 students and families! Can you believe that you are the senior students at school now! Very special place to be!
There have been some exciting changes in our classrooms over the break which you’ll find out about when you come back on Monday Feb 2nd.
Mr O, Mrs. Smith and I have all had great holidays with our families – we’re looking forward to hearing all about your holidays. You can add comments onto this post by clicking on the “No comments” line – maybe it says “1 Comment” now. Your comment won’t appear on the blog straight away, it has to be checked by an administrator and then it goes on, usually pretty quickly.
And you can change the look of the page bu clicking on the little boxes at the top of the page – have a try! If you scroll down or go through the calendar, you can read the 2008 Level 4 blog – we weren’t very good at adding to it regularly but this year, we’ll be much better!
looking forward to seeing you all soon and reading about your holidays,
from Mrs. Corr, Mr. O & Mrs. Smith.

Hi Melissa,
as you can see, we finished our doorway and it looked fantastic….we think the best one around, but that’s just our opinion! See what you think!

Hi Melissa from everyone in 6/5C!
We were really excited to get your emails and photos. It looks like you’re having a great time. We’ve decided that while you’re gone, we’re not going to do any Maths, writing or reading until you get back………….NOT!
We’re missing you very much. We’ve got 3 more days until school holidays.
Mrs. Corr will put some pictures of what we’ve been doing onto the blog as soon as she can. Click on the comments below this to get some messages from all of us!
see you, have fun….give Tigger a hug from Mrs. Corr!

Hi Level 4 Lovelies!
It’s been awhile since we’ve looked at our blog, but with our classrooms ‘on-line’ now, it’s easier than ever!
I have linked some pages that will help you complete your mini-project on an Australian Prime Minister. You will find the outline of the project, the rubric showing you how to get top marks and the page of links to websites that will help.
When the projects are done, you will be presenting them to the class in a 3 – 5 min talk about what you have learned.
We are all looking forward to hearing about what you found out! Happy researching!
Mrs. C., Mrs. S., & Mr. O
ps if you have any questions over the weekend, you can add them to the blog (via the comments) and we will answer them asap!

Hello Level 4!
This term is just zooming past! It won’t be long ’til Easter is here and we’re on holidays, and then not long ’til the Year 6s go on camp!
Hope everyone had fun at the World’s Greatest Shave this week. Mr. O’Meara and Mr. Thatcher were very brave and patient as lots of us had a go at chopping off their hair, even with the blunt scissors that I had!

Homework for this week is attached….don’t get tricked by the “thinks like” part – remember, if we had Attentive Listening in our room or in your group, what would you be thinking?
see you,
Mrs. Corr
